Shape renewable power systems at Envision Energy through advanced stability analysis, grid studies, and compliance expertise in Canada and North America.
This Principal Power System Engineer works within Envision Energy’s Grid Technology Centre of Excellence. You will lead static and dynamic studies for wind farms, BESS, and hybrid projects, while assessing products and electrical models against connection requirements. The scope includes Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex in-house grid connection studies
Analyze Steady State, RMS, EMT, and Small signal performance
Execute reliable integration strategies for WTG, BESS, and Hydrogen
Steer evolving grid connection standards and technologies
Address technical challenges across on-grid and off-grid projects
Requirements:

Master's degree in electrical power engineering
Seven or more years in renewable grid connection engineering
Comprehensive static and dynamic study experience
Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bring power system analysis, study leadership, and renewable integration knowledge to Envision Energy’s evolving product portfolio.
