Senior Manufacturing Procurement Buyer

Senior manufacturing procurement in Penticton calls for ERP/MRP expertise and strong supplier negotiation skills. Work on site supporting production materials and components.
This senior-level Buyer manages strategic and operational purchasing for manufacturing operations. The work covers raw materials, fabricated components, equipment, and production supplies. You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Operations while balancing cost, quality, lead time, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for manufacturing materials
Review production schedules, BOMs, and ERP/MRP requirements
Identify shortages, long-lead items, and supply disruptions
Coordinate purchase orders, confirmations, deliveries, and expediting
Maintain accurate supplier and pricing information in ERP
Requirements:
Minimum five years purchasing experience in manufacturing
Post-secondary education in supply chain, business, or procurement
Experience sourcing fabricated components or industrial materials
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
