Senior Open Pit Mining Engineer

Senior Open Pit Mining Engineer supporting project managers with mine design, planning, and NI 43-101 technical reports across diverse studies.
This senior-level position covers open pit and underground engineering services. You will contribute to scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, and detailed design studies. The work also includes technical reviews, due diligence, operational assistance, and cost estimation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering services for open pit and underground mine studies
Prepare NI 43-101 technical reports and technical memoranda
Design mine infrastructure, ventilation, backfill, and mining services
Prepare detailed mining CAPEX and OPEX cost estimates
Present findings concisely to clients and varied audiences
Requirements:
Senior-level mining engineering and design capability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to make quality decisions
Self-reliant and adaptable to change
Creative, innovative approach to providing solutions
