Lead safe storage projects in Pickering, Ontario, applying project controls, governance, and multidisciplinary coordination in a 100% onsite setting. This 18 month contract runs 40 hours weekly.
The Project Leader will oversee complex projects through initiation, execution, and closeout. Success requires nuclear or heavy industrial experience, plus expertise in scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management. The position supports safe delivery, quality standards, and project commitments.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead project planning, coordination, control, execution, and closeout
Apply governance for scope, schedule, cost, risk, and changes
Develop schedules, estimates, WBS, risk, and management plans
Coordinate design reviews, procurement, tenders, and contract recommendations
Monitor performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions
Requirements:

Six or more years of progressively responsible project management experience
Four year university degree in a relevant discipline
Nuclear or comparable heavy industrial project experience
Knowledge of project controls, forecasting, CPI, SPI, and earned value
Experience managing contractors, stakeholders, budgets, schedules, and project closeout
Bring nuclear project leadership, earned value knowledge, and disciplined controls to complex safe storage delivery in Pickering.
