Food Store Operations Manager

Lead grocery operations at a 30,000-square-foot flagship store, using financial management and merchandising expertise across southeastern Saskatchewan. Guide five department managers and approximately 80 employees.
As Food Store Manager, you will oversee grocery, meat, produce, bakery, and deli operations. You will manage budgets, sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and profitability while strengthening customer service. Your leadership will support department managers, operational standards, employee development, and compliance across the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee grocery, meat, produce, bakery, and deli departments
Direct merchandising, promotions, product selection, and pricing
Manage purchasing, ordering, receiving, and inventory
Review reports and implement operational improvements
Maintain food safety, security, and compliance standards
Requirements:
Six-plus years in relevant retail food operations
Three-plus years leading grocery managers or leaders
Experience managing multi-department grocery operations
Strong budgeting, margin, expense, and financial analysis skills
Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements
