Build foundational datasets at Robinhood in Toronto using Python, Spark, and Airflow. Shape reliable data products for analytics and decision-making.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will build and maintain datasets spanning Robinhood product areas. Your work supports analytics, experimentation, machine learning, and company metrics. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business teams while developing high-quality data solutions for evolving use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and build datasets across Robinhood product areas
Lead dataset evolution as use cases grow
Build scalable Python, Spark, and Airflow pipelines
Move application data into the data lake
Promote engineering standards and best practices companywide
Requirements:
Computer science or another relevant field of study
Four-plus years with a bachelor’s degree, or two-plus with master’s
Experience building high-quality data solutions
Expertise in one or more programming languages, ideally Python
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
