As Principal Data Engineer, you will provide senior technical leadership for enterprise data strategy, platform architecture, and engineering capabilities. Partner across Business Intelligence, Digital, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology. Shape trusted data products supporting analytics, reporting, artificial intelligence, and innovation at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise data architecture, strategy, and technical roadmaps
Design secure, scalable, high-performing cloud data platforms
Optimize enterprise-scale ETL and ELT pipelines
Establish governance, observability, quality, security, and compliance practices
Mentor engineers and influence enterprise technology decisions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or related field
At least 10 years’ data engineering or related experience
Expert-level SQL and data-modelling skills
Strong Python and modern data-engineering framework proficiency
Microsoft Azure, DataOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code experience
Bring principal-level leadership, cloud architecture, SQL, Python, and data-platform expertise to Sleep Country’s transformation strategy.
