This contract Project Estimator supports a transmission program management team delivering new infrastructure, asset replacements, and upgrades. The work requires cost estimating, engineering document review, quantity take-offs, and collaboration with Engineering, Construction, and Project Management. GTT offers this 12-month contract assignment in Edmonton.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed transmission project estimates
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and work scopes
Complete quantity take-offs for labour, equipment, and materials
Identify cost drivers, risks, assumptions, escalation, and contingencies
Maintain cost models, databases, and Basis of Estimate documentation
Requirements:

Five years of estimating experience in construction or infrastructure
Experience with electric transmission, utilities, or heavy civil projects
Diploma or degree in engineering, technology, or construction management
Valid Class 5 driver's license for Edmonton field visits
CSTS training completed within one month of contract execution
Use transmission estimating, quantity take-off, and cost modeling skills to support Edmonton projects through GTT's hybrid contract assignment.
