This experienced engineering role focuses on process optimization, analysis, and improvement for a global chemical solutions provider. You will identify bottlenecks, develop data-driven strategies, and support implementation with plant engineers and international operations teams. The work requires strong chemical engineering principles and independent execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze chemical processes for yield, energy, and waste improvements
Develop data-driven process improvement and cost reduction strategies
Model optimization scenarios using process simulation software
Conduct root cause analyses for inefficiencies and deviations
Prepare reports, recommendations, and performance presentations
Requirements:
Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field
At least six years of chemical industry process optimization experience
Proficiency with Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Excel, Minitab, or Python
Demonstrated measurable efficiency or cost-saving improvements
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Use chemical engineering expertise, simulation, and analytics to deliver measurable process improvements through fully remote global collaboration.
