Actuarial Analytics Team Lead

Lead actuarial analytics at Intact through technical guidance, project leadership, and a hybrid work model supporting national underwriting operations.
As Team Lead, Actuarial, you will guide two to three actuarial analysts within Operational Performance Analytics. You will combine hands-on analysis with coaching, recommendations, and stakeholder collaboration. The team delivers insights supporting operational excellence, productivity, growth, and service quality across underwriting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a small team of two to three actuarial analysts
Provide technical advice and ensure analysts’ work quality
Analyze reports and recommend underwriting performance improvements
Evaluate, develop, and coach team members
Represent OPA with working groups, committees, and stakeholders
Requirements:
University degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science
Minimum five years of experience
Coaching experience; one year is a major asset
Strong actuarial techniques and technical skills
FCAS or FCIA designation and Quebec bilingualism are assets or requirements
