SAIT
Teach black and white darkroom techniques face-to-face at SAIT in Calgary, using photography expertise and engaging instructional methods. Support mature learners during scheduled evening classes.
Continuing Education and Professional Studies seeks an Adjunct Photography Instructor for PHOT 009. The instructor manages learning, delivers established curriculum, and supports student achievement. Candidates should bring photography experience, teaching ability, current technology knowledge, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present lessons, assignments, quizzes, exams, and demonstrations
Maintain grading, professionalism assessment, and attendance records
Manage classrooms or labs for positive learning environments
Provide ongoing student support, guidance, and advice
Attend required SAIT training and follow safety standards
Requirements:
Photography degree, diploma, or equivalent education and experience
Two to five years of related photography experience
Two to five years of teaching or training experience
Current knowledge of photographic trends, technology, and software
Fluency with Office 365 and videoconferencing technology
Bring darkroom photography expertise, teaching experience, and organized communication to SAIT’s face-to-face PHOT 009 instruction.
