Support residents through dietary services as a Temporary Part Time Dietary Aide at Long Term Care, working evenings from 4pm to 8pm. Compassionate service and safe food handling guide your daily work.
As part of Sienna Senior Living’s Long Term Care team, you will assist with meals and resident dining. You will follow diets and preferences, communicate with residents and staff, and help maintain clean, sanitized dining rooms. The position supports residents’ comfort, dignity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation and meal service
Follow residents’ diets and food preferences
Take menu orders from residents
Set, clear, and sanitize dining room tables
Follow proper food handling techniques
Requirements:
Hold or obtain a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate
Provide compassionate support to seniors
Demonstrate detailed-oriented customer service and communication skills
Bring institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality food service experience
Meet work eligibility and screening requirements in Canada
Bring compassionate resident support, meal service, and food safety skills to Sienna Senior Living’s Long Term Care team.
