CHEO Food Service Attendant
CHEO
Support pediatric patients at CHEO through food preparation, tray assembly, and room service in Ottawa’s hospital environment. Help deliver hotel-style dining with care.
As a Food Service Attendant, you will support patient and retail food services across CHEO. Your work includes preparing food items, formula feeds, and patient trays. You will also serve locations featuring Mr Sub, Pizza Pizza, and Starbucks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and handle food according to department regulations
Prepare formula feeds for patient food services
Set up and assemble patient trays
Deliver and collect trays from patient areas
Maintain safe, sanitary work areas and operate dish machines
Requirements:
Ability to follow department food preparation regulations
Ability to prepare formula feeds
Ability to assemble and deliver patient trays
Ability to complete cash and closing procedures
Ability to work in retail food locations
Bring food handling, patient tray service, and sanitation skills to CHEO’s pediatric health system in Ottawa.
