Non-Ferrous Laborer
CAC Recycling
Our non-ferrous yard handles the highest-value scrap we process — copper, aluminum, brass, stainless, and specialty alloys. You'll work directly with customers and material, sorting, grading, and preparing for export.
Responsibilities
Identify and sort non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum, brass, stainless, alloys)
Grade incoming material and assist with weigh-ins
Interact with customers — explain grading and pricing
Prepare and load shipments for export
Operate forklifts and yard equipment as required
Qualifications
Knowledge of non-ferrous metal grades (preferred — willing to train the right person)
Strong attention to detail
Customer-service mindset
Forklift certification (or willing to obtain)
Physical ability to work outdoors year-round
