Oracle WebLogic and ODA Specialist

Maintain WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Cloud Control within Ontario’s COMPASS ATMS using specialized ODA X9 infrastructure expertise. The assignment is part time and on demand.
This Senior Specialized IT Consultant supports Oracle database and application updates, migrations, and preventive maintenance. The environment includes Oracle 19C, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle Data Guard, WebLogic Forms and Reports, JEOS Linux virtual machines, and Oracle Cloud Control. Responsibilities span production, backup, standby, and development environments, with close client collaboration throughout assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Cloud Control platforms and review alerts
Analyze space and perform environment checks
Apply Oracle security patches to databases and WebLogic
Support Oracle database, WebLogic, Cloud Control, and JEOS issues
Coordinate ODA hardware repair and replacement
Requirements:
Practical WebLogic Forms and Reports experience
Experience integrating WebLogic, JEOS, and Cloud Control
ODA X9 patching and maintenance expertise
Experience building Oracle virtual machines and templates
Strong client communication and project management skills
Use WebLogic, Cloud Control, Oracle database, and ODA maintenance experience to support COMPASS systems.
