Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

American Iron & Metal seeks a Senior Accounting Analyst skilled in financial reporting and analysis to support accurate accounting operations.
This senior role supports informed business decisions through financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement. You will prepare statements, reconcile accounts, analyze variances, and support closing activities. The position also involves budgeting, forecasting, audits, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform complex reconciliations and variance analyses
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Support audits with documentation and requested materials
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Four to seven or more years’ progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP
CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
