Apply municipal engineering experience and direct supervision as Halifax Water's full-time Inspections Coordinator for Engineering Approvals. Coordinate inspections and installations across Service Connections.
This regular opportunity leads a service delivery team of Operation Technologists within Halifax Water's Engineering Approvals Team. The team handles connections to and extensions of Halifax Water Systems. Success requires five years of progressively responsible related municipal engineering experience, a Civil Engineering Technology diploma, CET designation, direct supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Operation Technologists service delivery team
Coordinate inspections of Service Connections and appurtenances
Coordinate installations attaching to Halifax Water Systems
Deliver service connections for Halifax Water Systems
Support system connections and extensions through inspections
Requirements:
Five years of progressively responsible related experience
Experience in the municipal engineering field
Direct supervisory experience
Post-secondary Civil Engineering Technology diploma
Certified Engineering Technologist designation and valid driver's license
