Deliver patient-focused care at Walmart through consultation, file review, prescription counselling, and accurate pharmaceutical services.
This Staff Pharmacist supports the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of pharmacy operations while addressing individual patient needs. Responsibilities span prescription acceptance, safe dispensing, pharmaceutical product storage, privacy compliance, and eligible medication reviews or injections. The role also involves working with Professional Services District Management, stakeholders, customers, doctors, and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs through consultations and file reviews
Build relationships with district management and stakeholders
Accept prescriptions from customers, doctors, and hospitals
Ensure proper pharmaceutical product storage
Protect patient privacy at all times
Requirements:
Hold a current Pharmacist License
Be 16 years of age or older
Follow provincial regulatory requirements
Operate all pharmacy equipment and systems
Execute Walmart best ways and standard procedures
Bring licensed pharmacist expertise, patient consultation skills, and privacy-focused care to Walmart’s pharmacy operations.
