This Personal Support Worker serves Complex Continuing Care and Seniors Mental Health and Dementia Care. The role supports medical patients while addressing responsive behaviours, de-escalation, and age-related mental health needs. Experience with acute care or rehabilitation is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide care to medical patients and meet physical demands
Deal effectively with responsive behaviours
De-escalate patients using appropriate approaches
Work collaboratively as a member of the health team
Support safety and prevention of adverse health events
Requirements:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Personal Support Worker or HealthCare Aide Certificate
Current BLS, GPA, and U-first certificates
Acute care or rehabilitation experience
Advanced bilingual English and French proficiency
