Environmental Services Hospital Attendant
North Bay Regional Health Centre
Support hospital cleanliness with environmental services expertise at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Use housekeeping equipment and respond to emergency codes.
This Environmental Services Attendant works within the Environmental Services department. The position requires cleaning physical environments, operating housekeeping equipment, and responding to Codes Red and White. Success also requires organization, communication, interpersonal skills, and minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean the physical environment throughout assigned healthcare areas
Operate automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, and steam cleaners
Respond to all required emergency codes
Push and pull housekeeping carts during assigned duties
Support safety and prevention of adverse health events
Requirements:
Grade 12 graduation or equivalent required
Ability to lift up to 18 kilograms
Ability to walk, bend, twist, and climb ladders
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Scheduled shift and call-in availability required
Bring environmental cleaning, equipment operation, and safety awareness to North Bay Regional Health Centre’s Environmental Services department.
