CGIC seeks an Associate Insurance Advisor II to grow personal lines sales while delivering thoughtful client service from an office-based setting.
As part of the District Offices department, you will support agency operations across auto and home insurance. The work combines prospecting, policy recommendations, client reviews, risk assessment, and complaint resolution. Candidates without a General Insurance License are encouraged to apply, with full training and dedicated study time provided within the required timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive personal lines sales, service, and profitable growth
Identify and recommend products supporting client needs
Proactively review auto and home portfolios
Assess and select risks using underwriting guidelines
Achieve client service, sales, quality, and productivity goals
Requirements:
General Insurance license or willingness to obtain one
Meet provincial licensing and continuing education requirements
In-depth auto and property insurance knowledge
Strong underwriting and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and knowledge-sharing skills
Bring sales focus, insurance knowledge, and sound underwriting judgment to CGIC’s personal lines agency operations.
