CarbonCure Technologies
Apply analytical testing and cement chemistry skills at CarbonCure Technologies while supporting research linking concrete materials with CO₂ reaction chemistry. The role is laboratory-based.
As an Analytical Technician, you will lead laboratory analytical activities within CarbonCure’s research group under the direction of the Senior Research Engineer. You will prepare specimens, conduct material testing, review data, and support experiments investigating cement behavior with CO₂. The work combines analytical equipment, concrete specimen preparation, technical reporting, and laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze specimens for material testing
Conduct isothermal calorimetry, TGA, QXRD, Carbon Sulphur, and FTIR testing
Review analytical data against established acceptance criteria
Maintain, calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot analytical equipment
Compile, interpret, and present technical results
Requirements:
University degree in chemistry, materials science, or engineering
Knowledge of cement chemistry, hydration, and concrete performance
Experience preparing samples, testing, and interpreting data
Experience with TGA, QXRD, FTIR, or related techniques
Strong written communication for reports, SOPs, and presentations
Use analytical testing, cement chemistry, and technical reporting to advance CarbonCure research into lower-carbon concrete materials.
