Radioisotope Production Technician Kanata
BWX Technologies, Inc.
Build radioisotope production experience on-site in Kanata, Ontario, with BWXT Medical Ltd., supporting regulated products and cleanroom operations.
As a Junior Production Technician on a 12-month term, you will perform tasks within the Medical Isotopes production area. The work covers material preparation, equipment readiness, product processing, order dispensing, packaging, and records. Radiation safety, industrial safety, and strict protocols guide daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare materials, equipment, and facilities for production
Process regulated medical isotope products routinely
Dispense orders and package completed products
Document production activities and follow required procedures
Maintain housekeeping and complete emergency shutdown procedures
Requirements:
Three-year relevant science diploma or equivalent experience
Approximately one year of radioisotope production experience
Cleanroom or regulated production experience preferred
Familiarity with radiation safety and isotope handling preferred
Ability to stand and remain in cleanrooms extended periods
Bring radioisotope production experience, cleanroom readiness, and precise documentation practices to BWXT Medical Ltd. in Kanata.
