Maintenance Millwright Corrugated Manufacturing

Keep corrugated box production moving at Smurfit Westrock with equipment troubleshooting, boiler systems maintenance, and preventative maintenance expertise. Work within the Milton facility’s maintenance team.
As a licensed Industrial Millwright 433A, you will support production equipment reliability and report to the Maintenance Manager. Your work includes responding to breakdowns, identifying root causes, implementing lasting repairs, and maintaining preventative programs. The position also involves boiler systems, heating, steam, energy supply, minor electrical repairs, equipment installation, and safe heavy-equipment handling. Candidates need Canadian manufacturing experience, PLC programming and String Control experience, plus availability for rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify root causes and follow up on equipment repairs
Choose temporary or permanent breakdown solutions
Perform equipment checks, lubrication, and preventative maintenance
Maintain boiler, heating, steam, and energy supply systems
Assist with electrical repairs, installations, and equipment design
Requirements:
Industrial Millwright 433A license
Three to five years of Canadian manufacturing experience
PLC programming and String Control experience
Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy equipment safely
Rotating four-days-on, four-days-off day and night availability
Use industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installation skills to help maintain reliable corrugated manufacturing operations in Milton.
