This Cost Controller partners with Project Managers and Construction Managers to improve project oversight. Responsibilities include implementing controls, tracking contract changes, and interpreting financial statements. The role also supports governance, risk management, and decision-making through clear financial data.
Key Responsibilities:

Create controls that mitigate risks across long-term projects
Track approved and unapproved contract changes
Interpret financial statements for stakeholder decisions
Analyze overhead costs, budgets, forecasts, and variances
Recommend financial and contingency improvements
Requirements:

Finance degree or recognized accounting designation
Five-plus years of progressive financial reporting experience
Strong risk identification and recommendation skills
Knowledge of quality assurance and auditing practices
Effective collaboration with PMs, CMs, and leadership
Use project controls, contract tracking, and financial analysis to strengthen accountability throughout construction project delivery.
