The work includes prescription dispensing, customer and healthcare provider consultation, expanded-scope services, and dispensary maintenance. You will support privacy, regulatory compliance, inventory, and pharmacy workflow requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Acknowledge customers approaching the Pharmacy
Dispense accurate and appropriate prescriptions
Provide prescription and product counselling
Communicate with healthcare professionals within the circle of care
Maintain required records and privacy standards
Requirements:
Practice within federal, provincial, and regulatory requirements
Provide professional services within expanded scope and capability
Demonstrate independent thinking and decision-making
Plan, coordinate, delegate, and coach Pharmacy colleagues
Complete mandatory training and continuing education as needed
Bring professional pharmacy practice, prescription accuracy, and customer service to weekend operations at Shoppers Drug Mart.
