Lead nonprofit fundraising strategy in Toronto, using donor relations, communications, and CRM systems to advance organizational priorities. This full-time management role targets annual revenue growth.
The Development and Communications Manager creates and delivers fund development plans with the Board, management, and program staff. The position requires fundraising campaign experience, strong writing, donor stewardship, and project coordination. It supports organizational impact through fundraising, communications, and public engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive plans targeting $1Million in annual revenue
Research fundraising opportunities aligned with organizational values
Plan campaigns, appeals, events, and donor activities
Cultivate donors, funders, sponsors, and philanthropic partners
Supervise and support the Communications Coordinator
Requirements:
Minimum five years of nonprofit fundraising experience
Post-secondary communications, marketing, business, or related credential
Experience delivering large-scale events and multi-channel campaigns
Proficiency in CRM systems and donor stewardship
Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities
