AM Shift Warehouse Logistics Specialist

AM shift warehouse logistics at Wakefield centers on customer orders, stock transfers, shipment coordination, and vehicle loading in a plant environment.
This six-month contract works with Warehouse and Distribution Managers, shipping coordinators, and the Warehouse Lead Hand. Duties include organizing packaged goods shipments, supporting receiving, maintaining housekeeping, and completing forklift inspections. The position operates on the day shift, generally from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with hours varying for operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate packaged goods shipments with carriers
Liaise with shipping coordinators and warehouse managers
Support the Receiver function periodically
Perform required forklift inspection procedures
Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety practices
Requirements:
Valid AZ license and forklift license
Previous warehouse experience and Warehouse Management System familiarity
Ability to work overtime when operational demands require
Ability to acquire dangerous goods regulation proficiency
Strong communication skills focused on customer service
Use shipment coordination, forklift inspection, receiving support, and warehouse communication skills during Wakefield’s AM shift contract.
