Athletics Facilities and Events Officer
Fanshawe College
Support Fanshawe College athletics facilities and varsity events in London, Ontario, using sports operations and equipment management skills. Work in person five days weekly.
As an Athletics Facilities and Events Officer, you will support daily Athletics program operations under the Director of Athletics. The work combines venue preparation, event coordination, equipment maintenance, purchasing, inspections, and student employee training. You will help deliver safe, operational spaces for varsity games, Campus Recreation, tournaments, classes, and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate varsity game days and coordinate visiting team requirements
Prepare and restore venues for games and campus events
Coordinate facility maintenance with staff and contractors
Inspect facilities and implement risk management procedures
Maintain equipment inventories, uniforms, records, and storage
Requirements:
Two-year diploma in recreation, sports administration, or related field
Minimum two years’ customer service sports or recreation experience
Current first aid and CPR certification
Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Availability for weekday evenings and weekends as required
Bring sports operations, equipment coordination, and facility safety skills to Fanshawe College varsity events and Athletics spaces.
