Prepare and coat fabricated parts at Arrow Off Road Cambridge, using spray painting skills and precise surface preparation. Work in Cambridge, Ontario, within a quality-focused fabrication facility.
As a Painter, you will prepare assigned parts and apply paint, lacquer, or other protective coatings safely. AOR Cambridge fabricates and assembles components for heavy truck, defense, and off-road equipment companies. The work calls for automotive paint finish experience, bodywork, parts preparation, and accurate paint mixture knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect paint equipment for cleanliness and damage
Wash and sand parts to remove corrosion
Prepare items for paint, lacquer, or protective coatings
Select or mix paint using specified formulas
Verify surfaces meet quality and customer standards
Requirements:
Grade Twelve education or equivalent
Previous related industry work experience
Knowledge of automotive paint finishes and bodywork
Understanding of coat density and required cure times
Commitment to workplace safety and company procedures
Use disciplined preparation and coating expertise to help Arrow deliver quality fabricated components from its Cambridge facility.
