Horizon Health Network seeks a Patient Care Attendant 2 for 5CS Family Medicine in Saint John. Working under Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses, you will support care delivery in an acute care environment. The position requires patient data collection, delegated interventions, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with feeding, bathing, elimination, mobility, transfers, and dressing
Perform skin, pain, safety, and proactive rounding checks
Record weights, heights, intake, output, and vital signs
Gather supplies and assist with procedures
Respond to call bells and notify RN or LPN
Requirements:
High school graduation or GED equivalency
Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent education and experience
CPR or BLS certification for healthcare professionals
Regular attendance and flexible scheduling availability
Ability to perform the position's duties
Bring patient care, monitoring, and teamwork skills to Horizon Health Network's Saint John Regional Hospital team.
