This Chef position at Lougheed Mall develops and executes menu items and specials. You will prepare sushi, dim sum, BBQ, and stir fry while directing kitchen activities. The work includes training team members, controlling inventory, and managing kitchen costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, execute, and maintain menu items
Prepare, cook, and execute menu items and specials
Plan and direct food preparation within the department
Train and supervise team members on procedures
Control inventory, waste, spoilage, and kitchen costs
Requirements:
Experience making Asian hot and cold foods
Experience preparing sushi, dim sum, BBQ, and stir fry
Working knowledge of W.H.I.M.I.S. and Food Safe Certificate
Open availability for 40 hours per week
Passion for food and outstanding customer service
