This temporary assignment involves independent delivery across various communities in Nova Scotia. You will sort, collect, and deliver mail, process CPC products and services, and keep items secure throughout your route. Safe vehicle operation remains essential in all weather and traffic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver mail items safely and within required timelines
Collect mail and sort items for delivery
Process Damaged Mail, IDB, and address notifications
Display Canada Post identification during customer deliveries
Operate an appropriately equipped vehicle on assigned routes
Requirements:

Dependable, organized approach to on-call relief assignments
Valid permanent provincial Class 5 or G licence
Satisfactory safe driving record with driver’s abstract
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Vehicle with liability insurance and suitable cargo capacity
Use delivery experience, safe vehicle operation, and mail-handling accuracy to support Canada Post customers around Weymouth.
