Corporate Finance Analyst Forecasting

Corporate finance analysis and forecasting anchor this hybrid Financial Analyst role with an experienced North American submetering provider.
Based in Markham, Ontario, the Financial Analyst contributes to forecasting, business planning, valuations, liquidity management, and financial reporting. The position works closely with the CFO, finance colleagues, operations, sales, banks, auditors, senior management, and the board. It combines recurring reporting with analyses, presentations, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cash forecasts and support liquidity management
Assist forecasting and business planning processes
Support annual valuation models and management presentations
Prepare reports for senior management and directors
Analyze financial and operational results through special projects
Requirements:
Three to five years in an accounting function
Corporate finance or advisory experience is an asset
Advanced Excel modeling capabilities and functions
Strong PowerPoint presentation development skills
Self motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial focused
Bring forecasting, valuation, liquidity, and presentation capabilities to a finance team supporting informed business decisions.
