Vancouver Christian School seeks a 0.6 FTE High School Educational Assistant supervised by the High School Inclusive Education Coordinator. You will collaborate with teachers, counsellors, Educational Support Services, and other professionals. The work supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Key Responsibilities:

Support assigned students through strength-based educational approaches
Implement IEPs, Behaviour Action Plans, and health plans
Teach life skills, communication, self-regulation, and study skills
Apply professional recommendations, including AAC and ABA practices
Record progress and provide individual or small-group support
Requirements:

Educational Assistant certification preferred
Recognized post-secondary Special Education Assistant program completion
Related Education or Psychology degree or diploma
Equivalent special-needs experience or documented ABA training
Commitment to Christian faith and professional growth
Bring inclusive education, communication, and student-support skills to Vancouver Christian School’s high school learning community.
