Snow Instructor Development Coach
Blue Mountain Resort
Coach snow instructors toward stronger teaching and certifications as a full-time seasonal Trainer at Blue Mountain Resort. Maintain quality across beginner learning areas.
This Snow School Trainer works closely with leadership and the Technical Trainer to develop instructors and enhance lesson quality. You will provide ongoing feedback, on-hill support, certification preparation, and professional development opportunities. The position also supports departmental orientation, onboarding, and training aligned with CSIA, CASI, PSIC, and resort standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach instructors through ongoing feedback and professional development
Provide on-hill support across beginner learning areas
Identify training improvements with the Technical Trainer
Adapt sessions to address instructor development needs
Support consistent teaching standards and guest experiences
Requirements:
Active CSIA, CASI, or PSIC Level 3 or 4 certification
Current Course Conductor, Evaluator, or Trainer status
Proven on-snow instructor training experience
Strong communication and constructive feedback abilities
Previous Snow School leadership experience is an asset
Use coaching, mentorship, and technical training expertise to strengthen instructor performance and lesson quality at Blue Mountain Resort.
