Temporary Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse
City of Kingston
Registered Practical Nurse supporting resident-centered care at Rideaucrest through assessment, medication administration, and interdisciplinary teamwork in a temporary part-time assignment.
The City of Kingston seeks an RPN for up to 12 months at Rideaucrest Home. You will assess residents, implement care plans, document outcomes, and supervise health care staff. Care must follow RHPA requirements, College of Nurses of Ontario standards, and Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess resident health status and care needs
Implement care plans and evaluate resident outcomes
Dispense medications and treatments safely
Maintain electronic records and complete nursing reports
Supervise unregulated care providers and support quality improvement
Requirements:
Two-year practical nursing diploma or equivalent
Current RPN registration and Certificate of Competence
One year of related nursing experience
Valid CPR-C Certificate
Availability for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
