As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with EHN Canada, you will provide comprehensive care under Physician and Nurse Supervisor guidance. The work is evidence-informed, culturally sensitive, person-centered, and recovery-oriented. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team in a safe, secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients' psychiatric states and determine care needs
Develop and implement psychiatric intervention plans collaboratively
Administer psychotropic medications and monitor their effects
Document health journeys and report significant changes
Provide psychoeducation and general addiction nursing care
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or related field
Recognized psychiatric nursing program completion
Valid provincial or territorial Registered Psychiatric Nurse license
Registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Support recovery-oriented mental health and addiction care through psychiatric assessment, medication management, and compassionate nursing practice.
