Canadian payroll expertise meets analytical precision in Calgary, Alberta, for a Payroll Analyst processing employee and expatriate payroll. The contract runs one year.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this Payroll Analyst processes Canadian payroll for salaried, fixed-rate, temporary employees, and expatriates. The work requires Canadian payroll regulations knowledge, multi-provincial and multi-cycle payroll experience, and advanced Microsoft Excel. You will maintain payroll data, support filings and year-end activities, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT. SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Canadian employee and expatriate payroll
Maintain payroll data accuracy and confidentiality
Support regulatory filings and year-end activities
Audit discrepancies and resolve payroll errors
Prepare payroll reports and tax forms
Requirements:
Six to ten years of payroll experience
In-house, multi-provincial, and multi-cycle payroll experience
Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local regulations
Large ERP experience; SAP Payroll is an asset
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
