Practise emergency nursing at Toronto General Hospital with critical decision-making and compassionate patient care. This permanent full-time position includes days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
UHN seeks a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department and multidisciplinary nursing team. You will apply nursing science, theory, and professional standards while supporting competent, collaborative care. The position reports to the Nurse Manager and requires 37.5 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent emergency nursing care
Apply critical decision-making and nursing knowledge in practice
Follow College of Nurses of Ontario professional standards
Participate in continuing education and lifelong professional learning
Reflectively evaluate and modify nursing practice
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Recent emergency nursing experience is an asset
Bring emergency nursing expertise, sound judgment, and professional accountability to patient care at UHN’s Toronto General Hospital.
