Laundry Aide Secord Trails Community

Support residents through laundry services at Secord Trails Community in Ingersoll, Ontario, using linen processing, sanitation, and infection control practices.
The Laundry Aide is a critical position within Sienna Senior Living’s community environment. You will manage clothing and linen support while maintaining equipment, supplies, and clean work areas. The work includes sorting, washing, drying, ironing, mending, folding, inventory auditing, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, process, distribute, and inventory linens and personal clothing
Sort, wash, dry, iron, mend, fold, and load items
Audit linen labels and repairs before distribution
Maintain sanitation, cleaning schedules, equipment, and infection control protocols
Report machine malfunctions and support facility maintenance
Requirements:
Secondary school graduation or equivalent
Knowledge of infection control and cleaning practices
Knowledge of housekeeping operations and equipment
Ability to work independently or within a team
Effective communication with team members and residents
