Materials Coordinator Surrey Kanban
Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM)
Support production at IEM in Surrey, British Columbia, as a Materials Coordinator focused on kanban replenishment and accurate material handling. This is a 100% in-office position.
IEM seeks a Materials Coordinator reporting to the Materials Manager. The position coordinates parts movement across production workstations, monitors inventory signals, and communicates shortages or discrepancies. Attention to detail, reliability, and effective communication are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled kanban checks across the production floor
Pick and deliver materials to workstations in correct quantities
Monitor bin levels and trigger replenishment actions
Verify part numbers, quantities, and material condition
Report shortages, discrepancies, and quality issues
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Six months of warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail when identifying parts and quantities
Reliable, self-motivated approach to scheduled replenishment routes
Effective communication with production teams and supervisors
Bring dependable kanban coordination, inventory awareness, and material accuracy to IEM’s Surrey production operations.
