Animal Care Clerk Toxicology Laval

Support animal welfare in Charles River’s Toxicology team in Laval through careful animal handling and clean laboratory environments. This position requires physical readiness and precise procedures.
As an Animal Care Clerk, you will help maintain the well-being of laboratory animals and the integrity of pre-clinical studies. You will clean animal rooms and cages, assist Animal Health Technicians, handle animals carefully, and participate in physical and social activities. Charles River will train you in the remaining responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean animal rooms and cages to welfare standards
Maintain animals’ living environments
Assist Animal Health Technicians with daily tasks
Handle laboratory animals with care
Participate in animals’ physical and social activities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
AEC in Animal Care is an asset
Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms
Ability to follow strict, precise procedures
Openness to learning in a laboratory environment
Bring careful animal handling, physical readiness, and procedural accuracy to Charles River’s Toxicology team in Laval.
