Support Peace Over Violence communications and social media from its primarily on-site headquarters in Metro Los Angeles. This temporary, full-time schedule spans four eight-hour days weekly.
The Communications Coordinator provides communications, administrative, and program support for Peace Over Violence. You will help manage social platforms, newsletters, calendars, website updates, and digital content. The work also supports campaigns, trainings, events, and community activities. The position suits candidates interested in violence prevention and social justice.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage social media platforms during scheduled hours
Create, schedule, and post approved social media content
Maintain communications calendars and organize digital content
Assist with newsletters, website updates, and awareness materials
Route social media inquiries to appropriate staff members
Requirements:

Familiarity with major social media platforms
Experience developing digital content preferred
Strong written, oral, organizational, and time management skills
Commitment to survivor-centered violence prevention and social justice
