Operate butter production equipment at Saputo’s Red Deer facility, using accurate adjustments, packaging skills, and careful quality checks. Work Monday to Friday on eight-hour shifts.
Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. seeks a General Plant Helper for an existing opportunity reporting to the Plant Manager. You will support butter production and packaging through churns, butter formers, printers, and packaging lines. The work includes cream handling, sanitation, documentation, recipe adherence, and food safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, run, and adjust butter production equipment
Package butter into prints and bulk blocks
Perform routine weight, dimension, wrap, and seal checks
Assist with cream handling and butter churning
Complete documentation, sanitation, and equipment takedown
Requirements:
Food, dairy, or manufacturing experience is an asset
Accuracy, attention to detail, and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to work in a refrigerated production environment
Flexibility when shifts change because of business needs
