Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor
Northern Lights College
Teach practical nursing learners in Dawson Creek through clinical instruction, focused assessment, medication administration, and professional communication. This temporary assignment is part-time.
Northern Lights College seeks an instructor for PNUR 116: Consolidated Practice Experience 1. The course integrates Level 1 theory into practice across various settings, emphasizing healthy clients and the Practical Nurse role. Instruction includes personal care skills, organization of care, beginning medication administration, and professional communication.

Deliver PNUR 116 Consolidated Practice Experience 1
Integrate Level 1 theory into practical nursing practice
Support learning across various settings
Incorporate diverse instructional strategies
Foster inquiry, reflection, and evidence-informed practice
Requirements:
Diploma in Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Current unrestricted BC nursing or relevant professional license
Three to five years of recent Canadian nursing experience
Completed Indigenous cultural safety and humility coursework
Excellent written and oral communication skills
