Manufacturing cost accounting and AI tools define this General Accountant role with ChocXO Chocolatier LLC in Delta, British Columbia.
Support general accounting across month-end close, fixed assets, reconciliations, and financial statements. Review product costs, maintain standard costs, and analyze manufacturing variances. The role also uses AI platforms for financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, process automation, and workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and closing adjustments
Maintain fixed asset records and reconcile them
Review product costs and update standard costing information
Analyze manufacturing costs against standards, budgets, and prior periods
Investigate variances with Operations, Production, and Purchasing
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field
Approximately 2–5 years of accounting experience
General accounting and cost accounting experience preferred
Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups
Manufacturing ERP experience is an asset
