Student Engagement Event Coordinator
The CUS
Coordinate large-scale student events with strong organization and communication skills while supporting Commerce Undergraduate Society initiatives.
The Student Engagement Coordinator supports the Vice President, Student Engagement with general initiatives and major event execution. The work includes faculty collaborations, student organizations, event logistics, timelines, communications, and operations. The appointment runs from November 2026 through April 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and executing large-scale CUS events
Support Commerce versus Engineering Hockey Game organization
Coordinate with faculties, clubs, portfolios, and stakeholders
Manage timelines, logistics, venues, communications, and event-day operations
Promote events and support student participation
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple teams and deadlines
Interest in event planning or student engagement
Ability to commit additional time around major events
Support CUS student engagement through event coordination, stakeholder communication, logistics, and well-organized large-scale initiatives.
