Child and Youth Program Coordinator
YMCA of Niagara
Coordinate child and youth programs at the YMCA of Niagara while applying planning, supervision, and service excellence skills. This is full-time work.
The Program Coordinator supports welcoming, inclusive experiences for children and youth. The role plans, oversees, and delivers recreational, educational, active, drop-in, and skill-based programs. It also supports staff, volunteers, members, partners, and YMCA initiatives while reporting to the Centre Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver quality programs serving children and youth
Plan and manage departmental budgets
Coordinate recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management
Build member, volunteer, staff, and partner relations
Support branch operations and association initiatives
Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Recreation, Children’s Studies, or related field
Minimum three years related work experience
Minimum three years staff or volunteer supervisory experience
Current Intermediate or Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED
Satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal record check upon hiring
